How To Stay Rad


really easy things:
  • stand up straighter (x)
  • find out what triggers you
  • get out of the house
  • exercise (even if it’s just for 10 minutes)
  • sing (even if you don’t like to, it raises happiness)
  • listen to some motivational music (x)
  • call or text a friend
  • read a book that doesn’t take place here
  • keep only one tab open (if you’re on the computer)
  • practice smiling (x)
  • take a nap
  • take a shower
  • take a bath
  • send people compliments (makes them feel good too!)
  • clean (ew, but it feels good when you’re done)
  • humming helps

other things i just thought of:
  • make a new friend
  • compliment a stranger
  • volunteer
  • call your parents (tell them you love them, or yell at them…whatever floats your boat)
  • make a youtube channel and record some videos
  • hug a pet
  • if you don’t have one, adopt one
  • watch all the harry potter movies (or whatever franchise you want)
  • learn a choreographed dance
  • find a new hobby
  • join a choir
  • join a club
  • stay active!!! (physically and socially, cannot stress this enough)
  • hug a pillow and pretend it’s your favourite celebrity
  • punch a pillow and pretend it’s your least favourite celebrity
  • play with dolls
  • plan out your wedding
  • know everything is going to be okay :))
what not to do:
  • shut people out
  • refuse help
  • isolate yourself
  • stay in bed all day (even if you don’t have the strength to go anywhere, please shower, get changed, eat something, then go back to bed. it helps)
  • skip school
  • let yourself give up
