Food and Water
When grabbing food and water, it's not how much you take, it's how long it will stay fresh. Usually canned foods are always the best thing to take with you, or bagged goods such as carrots. Beans are also a good thing to take with you. Water is the thing that you should worry about most. When collecting water, stainless steel is always the best thing to carry it in. Stainless Steel dents, but it won't break as easy as plastic bottles, and it keeps most of the cold inside. And one tip, never collect water from rivers or ponds. You never know what could be in or could have been in the river or pond. Usually taking water from stores (I know it sounds bad and illegal but you'll get used to it), is a good idea.
So here's 2 main things to remember.
~Canned goods are the best to take with you, but don't take a lot of else it will weigh you down. If you think it will weigh you down on the way, take 2. Eat one there and save another for later.~Don't collect water from rivers or ponds and stainless steel is the best thing to keep your water in to keep it fresh, cold, and it won't break as easy as plastic will.
